Mariana Raimundo

Piano, Saxophone, Clarinet

Mari started taking piano lessons from The Music Store in Rocklin when she was 10 and has been playing for the past 13 years. As a Roseville native, she started playing the clarinet and saxophone at Cooley Middle School, and went on to play in the Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, and Jazz Band at Woodcreek High School. She was also a member of the Roseville Community Concert Band for 4 years. She went on to graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Music Studies in 2023. She played the electric bass with her college church for one year before moving back to the Roseville/Rocklin area.

Her favorite genres to play are soul/motown, gospel, and film music (especially Disney and Star Wars!). Her favorite composers are Claude Debussy, John Williams, and Vince Guaraldi. She is looking forward to helping students of all ages and abilities grow in their love for making music!
