Angeline
Violin and Cello
Hello! My name is Angeline and my goal is to instill creativity and passion for music in each student by personalizing my teaching to each musician. I will be working on the fundamentals (scales, pitch, rhythm, music theory) and the stylistics (tone, proper posture, handling the instrument, vibrato).
A little bit about me: I took music lessons from a very young age and then started violin when I was eight years old. Growing up in France I learned solfege; then, when I moved here I learned American Standard Pitch Notation while being in the orchestra of Granite Oaks Middle School. That is where I started to learn cello and now I take private lessons from Wayne Buck!
I love playing in ensembles: I have been playing violin for the Placer County Youth Orchestra for five years. I was the first chair cellist in the Rocklin High School orchestra. I participated in several honors ensemble and orchestra festivals on the violin and cello. I also enjoy leading and participating in small ensembles in the PCYO camps.
